How did you find miPic?
On Instagram.
How did you come up with your artist name?
I was watching the movie “THE USUAL SUSPECTS“.
Who are your artistic references/influences?
I cannot answer clearly. I run a multidisciplinary studio, so for passion and for work I must constantly be up to date with the new currents, I studied art history, plus i’m an object/furniture designer too. Let’s just say all the art, the masters, and all my travel around the world.
Where do you feel most inspired to create your work?
Everywhere. Literally. Waiting a red light while driving, before falling asleep. I don’t need media for my ideas, they pop up almost totally finished in my mind like a picture.
Years of practice I presume.
What is your favourite social platform?
Instagram for sure, and sometimes Twitter and Facebook.
Which of your pieces is most meaningful to you and what’s the story behind it?
“PABLO PICASSO“, a typographical work on a his quote “Everything you can imagine is real” that I did one sleepless night in 20 minutes, when I was in the Phillipines. This reflects my approach to every work I do.
Who do you dream to collaborate with?
With Pentagram.com
Is creating art / taking photos your full time job? If not, what do you do 9 till 5?
I can answer by saying I’m never out of my work. I do not call it work, but lifestyle. I cannot live without creating.
Who else do you admire on miPic?
I’m fresh on miPic, so I still can’t form an idea on the various artists, I will answer in the future when I have more experience with them.
What music are you listening too right now?
As for the art (music is art in sound) I listen to all music, no matter the style, when or what. But right now I’m listening Wagnerian Rock.
If you could have dinner with someone from a different lifetime, who would it be?
With all the teachers of the Bauhaus, in company with Massimo and Lella Vignelli.
